Let’s be honest: A Swing at Love is my wife’s book. Sure, I helped a bit—and by “a bit,” I mean I wrote half of it—but the idea was all hers.
She loves golf (I’m just a beginner practicing for retirement), and she wanted to write a sapphic romance that celebrates second chances, unexpected love, and the occasional mishit on the fairway of life.
Because my wife and I decided to test the very limits of our relationship, we co-wrote the thing. Let’s just say, if divorce papers had been handy during certain editing sessions, this book might never have seen the light of day. But we survived, and the result? A heartwarming golf romance with all the feels, plenty of dry humor, and no spicy scenes—so you can safely read it at your local golf club without anyone raising an eyebrow.
Now, after a much-deserved cover makeover, A Swing at Love has a fresh new look that’s as charming and classy as Diane and Tamsin themselves. Here are the highlights:
- Diane: Successful, newly divorced, golf-obsessed accountant who’s just fine, thank you very much—until she meets a certain golf instructor.
- Tamsin: Determined to avoid younger women after her last romantic disaster and definitely not looking for love. Spoiler: Love finds her anyway.
- Drama, romance, and swoon-worthy moments ensue as these two women navigate second chances and their own fairway of feelings.
I think the new cover is gorgeous and perfectly captures the sweetness of the story.
So, whether you’re a golf fan or someone who appreciates a sapphic romance where women in their prime get the love they deserve, A Swing at Love is for you.
Check out the new cover, grab a copy, and, if nothing else, send my wife a well-deserved high five. 🤩
If only my own golf game was this pretty… 😍
Go on—take a swing. You’ll love it.
Enjoy!
