My newest crazy plan

I’ve had a few crazy plans before, so there’s no reason why I shouldn’t hatch a new one now and then. 😉 Additionally, if you know me at all, you know I thrive on crazy plans. I do love a good challenge, so please allow me to introduce you to my newest crazy plan.

Not being able to write for almost three months this summer didn’t only mess with my mind, but it also left me with a gaping hole in production and new solo releases. Once in a Lifetime was my last solo release and it dates back to June, which is four months ago. To make up for this, I plan to publish a new Harper Bliss title every single month until the end of 2016. Yep, that’s the challenge. But it’s really not as crazy as it sounds.

Before I left for Europe in June I already had the first draft for my next novel (Release the Stars) done, and the complete idea for the next one (Seasons of Love) in my head. I’m currently sitting on three drafts in various stages of production, which already covers November 2015, December 2015 and January 2016 releases. I’ve also just started the first draft of Season Three of French Kissing, which I plan to finish by the end of October, and that will be the February 2016 release.

Of course, I won’t be releasing a new full-length novel every month. I will be writing some more novelettes (Nadia and Juliette’s ‘origin story’ anyone?) although I have plenty of ideas for longer works as well. In fact, after I finish French Kissing, I fully intend to (at last!) start my lesbian spy novel series. Also, no need to worry about my sanity too much. I’m a fast writer and I’m always working (or rather obsessing)  to increase my word count per minute.

I will only know if my plan has succeeded in December 2016, and, of course, this plan will only work if I don’t have any medical emergencies (again.) And I do intend to take regular holidays, starting in November when my family is coming to Hong Kong for a visit.

So, how about the cover and blurb reveal for my first upcoming solo release It Takes Two?
